Take A Time Out

Who says being selfish doesn't pay off? Its ok to become self absorbed some times.
In fact, why not everyday?
By day your a student, teacher, parent,or counselor and by night your already dead asleep.
Sometimes schedules keep us away from remembering a few key points about our health.
Avoiding Stress, Balancing work and pleasure are just two things that keep your life running smoother.
Here are a few tips to stay tuned in with your inner self:
Exercise: Great for the body, a great stress reducer, and clears your head
Writing in a Journal: Seeing your goals written on paper will motivate you to achiever them. Jotting your thoughts and feelings down is a great way to vent as well
Do something you love: even if its watching tv, shopping, or simply spending time with your family.
Breathing: Great deep breaths inward and outward repeated calms the nerves and connects the mind and the body.
The next time you find yourself running around for others, Ask
yourself: When is the last time I did something for me?
Remember to take a little time each day to appreciate one special person: You!
