Water Workout

Spring is here, but summer's not far.

Want to work out and beat the heat at the same time?

Working out in the water may be the answer you've been looking for. You'll work all those target areas, get great legs, toned arms, and a six-pack to die for.

Water supports 90% of your body when exercising in waist-deep water. But you don't have to be in waist-deep water, low impact water will help as well.

In fact with low water, there are many benefits such as:

good posture

increase in muscle strength

toning

If you are still unusure about being in the water, consider the fact the this form of exercise is safer than on land movement. You do not put yourself at risk of most injuries that occur on land.

To make things even better grab a friend or join a class. The more people the more motivated you will become in achieving your water weight loss goals.

No wonder I was in such great shape when I was a kid. I spent my whole summer in the pool at my grandparents' house.

First of all, Brittney, beautiful music on your blog. Restful and enchanting.

Second, I've got to make myself get into the pool at the R.H. YMCA Aquatics Center. Need to get back into the water!

Thanks for your blog post on the benefits of water and exercise
