Chocolate Touches More Than Taste Buds

No longer affiliate chocolate and guilty pleasure in the sentence. This rich snack helps our bodies in more ways than we may know.

An article in Shape magazine proved that sipping hot cocoa in the winter raises body temperature and keeps skin moisterized. Leaving the face smoother and protected.

According to a Journal of Nutrition, women who drank a cup of cocoa for a day did not get sunburn as easily as others who did not drink cocoa everyday for three months.

Dark Chocolate contains antioxidant flavonoids that lower the risk of heart disease, prostate cancer, type 2 diabetes, and asthma.

Although chocolate can be good to the heart, keep in mind that it should not be substituted for other foods vital to a healthy diet such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
